Membership is open to physicians who are licensed to practice in a Canadian province, and are certified or hold fellowship in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or le Collège des médecins du Québec in Medical Biochemistry. Physicians enrolled in a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or le Collège des médecins du Québec, and retired physicians who were a member of the society for at least 5 years may join as class B members.
